Millions may have been tuning in to see the latest
twists and turns on The X Factor, but Lauren Silverman was putting on
her own show as she stepped out on Saturday night.
Usually happy to let her superstar partner Simon
Cowell grab the limelight, the 36-year-old was the one who made a
dazzling appearance at the Shooting Star Chase charity ball at London's
Dorchester Hotel.
Lauren - mother of Simon's son Eric - led the way in
the glamour stakes at the black tie event, where a host of stars had
gathered to help raise funds for the children's hospice.
She looked stunning in a floor-length burgundy fishtail prom dresses uk, complimented perfectly by simple jewellery and her hair neatly pinned back.
Meanwhile, the X Factor honcho stayed true to form and
sported his go-to uniform of unbuttoned white shirt and tailored
trousers.
Other guests who gathered at the event included Simon's close confidante Sinitta, who wore a sheer embellished blue prom dresses 2014, and former Celebrity Big Brother star Luisa Zissman, who wowed in black gown with a plunging neckline and a thigh-high split.
TV presenter Chris Tarrant was also among the glitzy revellers.
Sinitta ensured she turned heads in a sheer blue long prom dresses with heavy embellishment
Hollywood legend Joan Collins ensured she returned to
the UK to attend the event due to her role as a patron for the hospice,
which helps over 600 families with terminally-ill children.
To get proceedings off with a bang during the ball's
charity auction, generous Joan whipped off one of her diamond rings from
her own finger and put it under the hammer.
And it appears the Dynasty star's donation got the ball rolling on a big night - the event raised a whopping £173,000.

An update on the charity's Twitter read: 'It's
official, it was the BEST auction ever... £173,000 raised thanks to lots
of very very generous people!'
As part of the evening, attendees were treated to
performances by Spandau Ballet frontman Tony Hadley and former X Factor
contestant-turned-charttopper Ella Henderson.
The money will go towards the running of the
organisation, which costs a staggering £23,000-per-day to run. Services
are provided year round for free.
